7 Days Safari
We really recommend this 7-day safari so that you can see all the Northern National Parks in a relaxed way. Our tour guide will show you The Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, The Serengeti and the Ngorongoro reservation. There is also time for some culture experiences during this safari, such as visiting a Masai village and seeing the Hadzabe Bushmen.
Please allow us to arrange for your airport transfer and overnight stay before and after the safari.
Day 1
After breakfast the first morning, the safari departs from your hotel. First stop is Arusha town for last minute purchases. Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch in the park. The Tarangire Park is famous because of its majestic baobab trees. You will also get to witness its huge elephant population. After your first impressions of this park, we will have a nice dinner and overnight stay at the Migombai tented lodges.
Day 2
The first game drive will start after breakfast; we will be leaving Tarangire to go to Lake Manyara National Park. This park provides you with the opportunity to spot more than 300 kinds of birds, including thousands of flamingos. You can observe and enjoy the diversity of flora and fauna while driving in our comfortable cars. You will have a lovely dinner and stay in the Fanaka lodge after visiting Lake Manyara. While waiting for dinner, you can go for a dive in the swimming pool.
Day 3
The third day will be a more cultural day. We are going to visit a Masai village. We go there by bicycle for a few hours and do some sightseeing in Mto wa Mbu. We will walk through the banana plantation and go out for local food. In the afternoon you will have some free time to relax at the swimming pool.
Day 4
After an early breakfast we head out to the famous Serengeti. It will take about 4 hours to reach the gate of the park. The Serengeti is one of best places to observe wild animals in their natural environment. This is because each year many mammals migrate north through the Serengeti to get to Kenya. The migration is a very impressive sight to see. All those animals thundering across the plains looking for water and grass. In the afternoon your guide will bring you to the Kati Kati tented lodges.
Day 5
On day 5, we wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise. You will have the opportunity to take breathtaking pictures. We will have our picnic breakfast in the park when the sun is out. We will then have a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. We will reach the Ngorongoro reservation late in the afternoon and this is where we stay in the Rhino tented lodges.
Day 6
After breakfast we depart to the Ngorongoro crater. We will drive into the 610-meter-deep crater to experience the true spirit of Africa. From the comfort of your 4×4 vehicle, which gives you the opportunity to spot the Big Five; elephants, buffalos, leopards, lions and rhinos. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the heart of the crater near the Hippo pool. After spending some hours in the crater, we will leave this wonderful place and head for Lake Eyasi where we have our overnight stay at the Eyasi Safari tented lodges.
Day 7
The last day of this beautiful safari. Tanzania is home to a vast number of different tribal cultures, and a visit to this magnificent country would not be complete without pursuing an authentic African experience, one that is untouched by western influences. A visit to Lake Eyasi offers travelers the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the native Hadzabe Bushmen. You will be able to witness a traditional hunting demonstration, which shows the way this tribe survives in the wilderness. You will learn everything about their survival skills, food preparation and cultural norms. And then it is time to go back to Arusha where our tour guide will take you to your hotel in time for dinner.
